Gently supports the body's natural detoxification process and the removal of toxins via the digestive and lymphatic systems. With more than 12 herbs and essential oils to support healthy, liver secretions and lymphatic fluids, this tonic can also be used on occasion to support recovery from over-indulgence in food.


How to take

Adults over 12 years: take 5-10 mls three to four times daily. Take one hour before meals.


Shake well before use. Swill in mouth for 10
seconds before swallowing if possible.

Herbalist tips

This is an original Malcolm Harker tonic. Malcolm recommended:

  • taking this tonic straight, or added to 50ml of boiled water as a tea
  • avoiding mucus forming foods such as gluten, egg-white, chocolate, dairy, polyunsaturated oils and regular table salt
  • adopting gluten-free grain foods, whole foods (greens, fruits nuts, seeds), unprocessed coconut oil and Celtic & NZ Sea Salt with Kelp

    With all his tonics, Malcolm also recommended using Intestinal Cleanse for 1-2 weeks to reduce parasite populations. By reducing the load on the body of parasites, the body is able to use nutrients from food and the active ingredients in his tonics more efficiently.

The anthraquinones in yellow dock have mild laxative effects, promoting bowel movements. Research has also shown yellow dock stimulates bile production, supporting liver function and digestion. Bile is essential for digesting fats and detoxifying the liver, and improved bile flow can enhance digestion and nutrient absorption. Yellow dock is considered a blood purifier in traditional medicine. In Russia, the root syrup is sold without prescription by pharmacies to treat minor respiratory ailments.

Pomaderris kumerahou

Native to New Zealand, Kumarahou has been used in traditional Maori medicine to treat various ailments, including respiratory and digestive complaints skin conditions,. Its main constituents include saponins, flavonoids (including quercetin and kaempferol) and tannins. Used here to soothe and stimulate the digestive process.
