How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Ideally, you should receive your order within 24 hours if shipping within New Zealand. However, if we have received your order after 1pm, over a weekend or a public holiday, it may take a little longer. Check out our full Shipping and Returns policy.

How much is NZ shipping? 

Shipping is calculated at checkout. Our Friends of Harkers enjoy free shipping on all orders when shipped to an address in New Zealand. If you have not joined our Friends of Harkers rewards program, then shipping is free on orders over a value of $75. 

Do I pay taxes on my order if shipping to an address outside New Zealand? 

All our online prices include New Zealand GST of 15%.  If shipping outside New Zealand, the GST will be deducted at checkout. Customers outside New Zealand may be liable for duties or taxes on their order. We advise checking this prior to confirming your purchase as we cannot stop or change your order once it has been dispatched. Check out our full Shipping and Returns policy.

How much is shipping to an address outside New Zealand?

I forgot to add my discount code. Can I add it after I submit my order?

Once your order has been submitted, we can’t cancel or amend it. That includes where you have forgotten to add a discount code. Please note that a discount code won’t work on bundle offers or already discounted items. 

I made a mistake with my order. Can I cancel?

Once your order has been submitted, we can’t cancel or amend it. However, you may be able to return the product as per our Shipping and Returns policy. 

What is your return and refund policy? 

Please email us at if you have any complaints about your product. Our team may ask you to return the product to us for further investigation and, if the product is found to be faulty, provide a refund or replacement product. Please see our Shipping and Returns policy for our full Ts&Cs.

Do you take return of product I’ve bought elsewhere?

We don’t accept returns of product purchased through a third party.  Please contact the retailer where you bought the product, and they will take care of you. 

Can I purchase the same promotions online and in store?

Many of our promotions are available exclusively on or in our Harker Herbals Stores at Waipu and Commercial Bay. However, we may have separate promotions in different locations of purchase.

My product tastes a bit different to the last one I bought. Is there something wrong with it?

As our products are made using all natural ingredients, there may be a seasonal variation that affects the flavour slightly.   This is normal for genuine natural products.

Where are your products manufactured?

We make all our products at our Harker Herbals manufacturing facility in Hastings, New Zealand, except for our throat sprays. These are made in a GMP certified facility in Nelson, New Zealand. Our manuka honeys are sourced from Taranaki, New Zealand.

Are your products vegetarian or vegan-friendly? 

All of our products use only plant-sourced ingredients with some products adding a mineral (iron or zinc) or honey, which are produced by bees. The products with ingredients derived from bees are our Throat Sprays and Manuka honeys.

Can I take your products if I’m on medication?

We always recommend consulting your health practitioner before taking our products if you are taking prescribed medication. Some herbs can interact with different medications and impact how they work. In particular, any blood-thinning medications may be impacted by some of the herbs in our tonics and syrups.
