Winter Fixer Tonic by Steph Peirce

This is a simple daily ritual for supporting immunity, digestion and feeling your best through winter. Made with warming ginger, apple cider vinegar and Harker Herbals Vitamin C Syrup, this is the kind of easy wellness habit that actually sticks - because it’s quick, easy and tastes delicious! Enjoy warm as a morning ritual or afternoon pick-me-up.


Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 thin slices fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 2 tsp Harker Herbals Vitamin C Syrup
  • 200–250ml hot water

Method

Add the apple cider vinegar, ginger, cold water and Vitamin C Syrup to a mug or tumbler and stir to combine.

Top with hot water and stir again. The water should be hot, but not boiling, as boiling water can reduce the benefits of Vitamin C.

Sip and enjoy.


Serving notes

You can also serve it chilled over ice with soda water for a refreshing spritz, or make a larger batch to keep in the fridge throughout the week and enjoy heated or iced. For an extra warming kick, try adding a pinch of Celtic Sea Salt or some fresh turmeric and black pepper.
