Propolis is a mixture of beeswax and other oils and resins collected by bees and used in the construction of the beehive and in preserving honey and other perishables. It’s most notable chemical properties are antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, which is why propolis has been used for centuries to support throat, mouth and lung health as well as wound healing.
