Citrus Zinger Immune Boosting Brew

Making your own immune boosting brews at home is a super simple way to level up your wellness routine! Our Citrus Zinger Brew combines fresh lemon and ginger with a 650mg dose of Vitamin C. You get all the anti-oxidants and fast acting immune support from the vitamin C while keeping your fluid intake up as well. 

 

You can burn through these essential nutrients without being rundown or sick as a dog. Stress, poor sleep or a super active lifestyle can all affect the rate at which your body uses up nutrients.  

 

This is delicious to sip on during the day so we make it in 1 litre batches. Then it's easy to add  Vitamin C and fresh ingredients whenever we pour a fresh cup.

 

 Ingredients:

  • 100gm sliced ginger
  • 2 sliced lemons
  • 1 litre water

 

Method:

In a pot, bring ingredients to the boil, cool down to drinkable temperature (around 60 °C). High heat speeds up oxidation of Vitamin C so let boiling water cool to a comfortable drinking temperature before adding your liquid dose.

 

Use as the base for your drink and add to each cup: 

 

  • 1 Tsp Harker Herbals Vitamin C 
  • ½ tsp chopped ginger
  • 2 slices of lemon
