GutBiome Balance Berry Bar

Created by Wellness Ambassador Sarah Tanner, this delicious Berry Bar using the Harker Herbals GutBiome Balance daily powder is one you'll love making at home.

Mix it up with different berries and keep in the freezer for a tummy loving treat!

 

Ingredients:

For the base:

  • 6 dates, soaked in hot water to soften
  • 1 ½ cups ground almonds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla

For the top layer:

  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup blueberries, or your other favourite berry
  • 1 TBS maple syrup
  • 3 tsp Harker Herbals GutBiome powder
  • Melted chocolate squiggle to top


Method:
  • In a food processor, add the ground almonds, cinnamon, and vanilla and start processing. While it is running, add the soaked dates, one by one, until you get a mixture that holds together.
  • Press into a lined slice tray, or small container. I have used one around 15cm x 10cm to keep the slice nice and high.
  • Place in the freezer.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the yoghurt, maple, and Harker Herbals GutBiome powder, when everything is combined, add in the blueberries.
  • Pour over the base, and place back in the freezer to set.
  • Once set, cut into your desired pieces, and chocolate coat, or squiggle. Keep in an air-tight container in the freezer.
